🥬 Juicing vs Blending

A juicer extracts juice from the insoluble fiber. Pulp/fiber will be left out, leaving you with pure juice!

WHICH IS BETTER, JUICING OR BLENDING?

One is not better than the other, they are both are great for you and do different things for your body.

Juice is broken down so well it’s like a predigested food. It gets right into your system and within 20-30 minutes it is active in your bloodstream. The vital nutrients from juice go straight to your cells and start working! Juice also relieves strain on your digestive system without the fiber being there. You do not want a fiber-free diet, but juice goes right into your system and all of the amazing nutrients are preserved. We always recommend having juice on an empty stomach right before a meal so that it can go to work healing your body.

🥕 Why do we not need the fiber all the time?

We don’t have to have fiber every time we put something in our mouths. We absolutely need fiber, our colon has to have fiber, but we can have days without insoluble fiber. There is still soluble fiber in the juice that you drink. Insoluble fiber does not dissolve in water and is left intact as food moves through the gastrointestinal tract. The term fiber refers to all the parts of plant-based foods that cannot be digested or absorbed by the body. Soluble fiber attracts water and turns to gel during digestion. This slows digestion. Soluble fiber is found in oat bran, barley, nuts, seeds, beans, lentils, peas, and some fruits and vegetables.

🍊 What about high sugar content?

When people hear ‘juice’ they often think of fruit juice ad it can be too much sugar for most people. Juice is so much more than fruit! Juicing vegetables should be the main goal o fjuicin gbecgase they hold so many key vitamins and minerals. IF you do want to use fruit, stick to apple and berries as a juiced fruit because they have a lower glycemic index. Dont shy away from the vegetables! We focus on pressing vegetables with only a hint of fruit. Some vegetables can also have high sugar content too- so be aware and go heavy on the veggies!

🥒 What are some benefits of juice cleansing?

  1. Rest For Organs: A juice cleanse gives your body a break from processing solid foods. During a juice cleanse, your digestive system, including your intestines and stomach, dont work as hard to break down and digest food.

  2. Energy Boost, Deeper Sleep: After a cleanse you can expect to feel more vibrant and energetic, and you should sleep better too. During a cleanse, your liver is given a break it needs to repair itself by eliminating the toxins it normally needs to filter from your blood.

  3. Mental Clarity: Cleansing not only boosts your physical energy, but it can improve your mental clarity too. When your digestive system goes from an overworked state to a lighter, healthier state your brain fog will lift, leaving you with greater sense of focus and mental sharpness.
